RE: Just Ordered a CT4S
Its a good idea to start out in an open area... School parking lot... Try to find somewhere with minimal obstacles. This will help both of you out to start. Don't want to break your cars too quickly. It will give you a bad taste for the Hobby.
Your CT4S has a stock drivetrain that is capable of VERY fast speeds in open areas. We test ours out at a stadium parking lot... which is quite a rush. Nothing like driving an rc car at 70mph, but if you cannot or do not have access to such an area, then we recommend installing the "acceleration" drive train.
Your best bet would be to find local "parking lot" racing. Both of you could attend.
