RE: Getting a new MBX5 Kit, any pointers or Motor reccomendations?
hyper 8 port goes well for the dollars you pay, mine still runs strong, with fuel leaking out the front bearing and all. I've put alot of fuel through that poored old motor and treated it really bad. Some say that they are unreliable and couldn't keep them running. I never had those problems. the os rg would be a great motor for a beginner but would be lacking on that track IMO. the v-spec seems really easy for me to work with easy to tune and is a really good motor and would be great around your track, but i've had alot of experience with nitro motors since the hyper 8 port.
badlands are a great general tire. they work alright everywhere, are brillant on the grass and in deep loose stuff. They also look great and will kick up a great roost on a sandy surface. [8D]
