The picture on the RC report cover is my Runaround. That's my eldest daughter Elizabeth holding it when she was about 16. It is a Dick Hansen kit with fiberglass fuse and sheeted foam wings. He sold the kit with two sizes of wings and stab, this has the smaller wings and stab (750 sq in?) and flew very well with a OS91 Surpass. It weighed just at 7lbs with fixed gear. I flew it to the District IV Novice Championship back in 1998. I flew it for four years before I smucked it in low and inverted. I built a second one as a Runaway (double tapered wing) with a SAito 100. it was actually under 7 lbs and flew very well also.
