I was just kiddin about the updates.

The only upgrade I did to the diffs is the machined cross shaft. I however did shim the pinion gear and the side gears in the diff. Taking out the slop in the side gears is probably what increased the life of the diffs.

Still have the cam on the desk but the Mammoth is torn apart at the moment for diff shimming and a lock tight treatment. I will post pics when it gets back together.

The Havoc should be a really good bashing truck. I am going to try to get my LHS to order one so I can take a look at it, they cater to the bashing croud so they shouldn't have a problem selling it.

Don't worry about the CEN, it isn't going anywhere. The Mammoth and the X Factor are great but they are still not the CEN. I probably would have bought a Genesis but nobody would give me specifics about the upgrades between the regular Genesis and the LE.


Scouser, if you were to drive an actual truggy (Mugen, Mammoth ST, etc) you would want to sell off the Savage. They handle like a dream on the track.

alvinl, I don't know about the hole little money part I do happen to have a box of failed experiments and I deliberatley didn't keep the reciepts.
