Thanks guys for your additional input on other carb options. I did consider simpler carbs to keep the cost down, however I wanted to have the ability to get an overly rich midrange to play with without affecting the high and low end settings like the heli carbs use. Overkill? Yes I guess it might be but this is an experiment to see if the cowled in 1.60 can be run hard without overheating from lean midrange runs and without baffling issues. Just feed the carb and the engine the needed fuel and the engine should be very happy all day long.
