I bought a .56 when I first got into the hobby to see what four-cycle model engines were all about. Fell in love instantly!
The .56 is currently on a 1/6 Cub. I have a .65 in a World Models Super Frontier Senior. I have a .91 waiting for a home. There's a freshly broken-in 1.50 sitting next to my almost-ready Dave Patrick Ultimate bipe.
When I found out how much I liked four-cycle engines, I also bought a Magnum .52FS. Not a good thing. It was replaced under warranty. The warranty replacement then had its cylinder head replaced under warranty. No more Magnums for me.
I also bought an O.S. .70 Surpass II. When I found out it weighs more than my Saito .91, I didn't have the heart to mount it on a plane.
I would like to try a Y.S. at some point, but can't see spending the money right now.
If I ever become financially well-off, I will certainly start buying Saito multi-cylinder engines!
Good flying,
