John could you post some pics of your robart install.I am getting ready to fly mine as it is all done except for mounting my YS91 up front.Everthing on this plane went together really nice. The covering was awsome.I had a Model Tech 47 that I flew for a year with this setup and loved the way it flew but really got tired of the crap covering always wrinkled and the weak retracts. As nice as this one looks I want to get better landing gear so any help would be great.Thanks.
Edgeman55-RCU,

It looks like the Robart 511s will be a relatively easy install with just filling/drilling new mounting screw holes and dremel-ing out a couple of tight spots along the rails. It looks as though there's plenty of room in the fuselage for the air tank, especially if you use the small tank that comes with the 511 air system (they're the spring down design). I'll post photos of the retract install as soon as I can get it done -- the wife's family is coming to town, so progress may be slow for a while.
