This summer I said I would never build another kit. Well I lied to myself I guess. Winter's coming and I'm feeling the urge for a new kit guys! I know I want a 60 sized aerobat and the Extra is practically the only one with a variety that is out. I plan on using a YS 91FZ or a Saito 100 for power. The two kits I've came down to are the Great Planes Extra 300S 60 and the Carl Goldberg Extra 300. I've only built a few kits so I'm trying to stay clear of anything really complicated. I'd just like a nice easy build that will give me a superb aerobat with either of the above engines. Right now I like the shoulderwing design of the CG but the weight is kind of a killer and I've never heard anyone comment on the build. I've read Wreckrman's review of the GP Extra at
www.********.net and am impressed with the construction but the finished plane isn't as slick looking as the CG. Decisions decisions....someone please help me!
