Here are few pictures for those wanting to see more of the H9 P47. A couple notes on mine, the gear doors will not work with the hardware supplied as the lock nuts hit the bottom of the wing. There are many ways to fix this problem. I used a Hitech 75BB with good results, will post more pictures later with more in depth instructions. I found the retracts the hardest part of construction. I used Hitech 325's and one 322 one everything else. I will be trying out a Saito 72 on this model and will give a report latter on. Note: there are a few pictures of the firewall and engine mounts. Changing engines will be a piece of cake because of the elongated holes. The push rods are not much better than hard cheese, you might want to replace those and also plan on better clevises too. I will be replacing mine at a latter date. The dummy engine is made of really cheap plastic and I am not going to waste the time installing it. It does work good for lining up the engine though and should be used for this. The stock retracts might be okay I will be flying from grass and hope they hold up. The fire wall should get a good bead of epoxy inside to reinforce the hot glue. That's about it from me. Hope to fly this weekend.
