The LX would be a good platform for a build. The handling of a buggy will blow you away. There really is no drifts or slides you have to drive these things. The top speed may not be as high but the corner speed will be higher and it will leave the corners alot faster.
After I finished the conversion on my MT2 I greatly enhanced the handling of it but I was totally blown away on how the ST handled.

The Matrix is going to be offered as a AAR kit also. Not sure of the price.
