I have a nearly new 7CAP that at times has no display. It now appears that it is partly temperature related, below 60 degrees or so no display. The transmitter appears to still operate the plane correctly but you can[t be sure which model is on. It did this some directly after purchase but appeared to go away. Now with lower temps it is more common.
