Default RE: mini

The Mini giant is a great truck for a Crawler! Kinda depends on your idea of mini though. TLT Small Scale Comp Crawlers run around 11-13"s for example and the Unlimited trucks Avg. 16"s. In my opinion the only thing to keep in mind for the VMG is Tire size. They don't handle bigger tires very well, Stock they are 5.5"s so you need to keep a pretty small Wheelbase with a VMG like 6-7"s. and if anythingnarrow the Wheeltrack(width) by narrowing tires and wheels.

Not to mention that it is extremely cheap since you can chop up its plastic chassis and Red Rod Links to make things like Axle mounted steering and linger four links. There is a ton of tricks to make a Mini Giant a pretty sweet crawler for little more than $20 over the price of the truck.

I personally have owned a Few VMG's and even a 9" Wheelbase one with Gear reduction and TLT Tires, but my next one will be super small.
