What you should have done is call her to worn her that you trashed the kitchen that there is sawdust everwhere and a mess that would need a plow to get through then when she gets home to see this huge mess she will be happy with you because it is only a small mess(compared to what you prepared her for) ALWAYS make it sound 10 times worse than it is so when the truth is found out "it ain't so bad" got me out of a few jams
