Default RE: Pay It Forward Build Thread!! Sig LT-40 build

Looking great Ken. I cannot say thanks enough for doing something like this for both all of the people just learning to build and the PIF thread in general. I did see your email and will get back to you on how we are going to get this plane to him.

As far as reading the manual goes, as Ken said I cannot stress that enough. Everyone is well aware that I'm not a kit builder so those kinds of things I usually leave to Ken, but even in assembling an ARF (building an ARF just does not seem to fit since it's already built) it's wise to read and re-read the manual.

I'm allot like tigerdude426. It's not uncommon for me to download the manual of the plane I'm going to assemble next and read it until I just cannot read it anymore. I actually have a folder sitting on my computer called airplane manuals with sub folders below it for the different manufactures of the manuals I have doenloaded. Some are planes I have assembled and other belong to my "wish list" just in case I decide to buy it.

Allot of manufactures have their manuals online and the ones that do not usually will get you an electronic copy if one does exist if you ask nicely for it.

Unfortuntley SIG does not and will not provide an electronic copy but in the two SIG kits I have done, you'll quickly find out that they are so easy to do having the manual ahead of time is not that big a deal.

All that being said, I cannot wait to see this thread come to life. My goal is to see it well out do MountaineerFan 4*60 build thread and I'm sure it will easily
