I stopped using proportional brake valves for a while. I simply use silicon grease on the hubs of
the bvm wheels and a on/off mini air switch. seems to work as good or better than the proportional ones, because it stops the plane smoothly and the tires are lasting longer than ever...

Me too.
I been using button air swicth for brake valve. Put some lube on the brake and it work perfect every single time.
250 flight on the F-18 and 75 flight on my new F-16.
What make it more perfect. I only use one retract channel mix over center to activate the brake button.
