all, I found the sims to be valuable in engraining control at different orientations. I haven't found software that will simulate the random nature of a real heli's movements in a hover. the sims are much to stable and predictable. It's good for some elements of fff but certainly not an alternative to taking all the small steps in training when learning to fly the real thing.
