Thanks Barry,
I did read about that and have been contemplating the move. I believe that I will end up doing so and feel comfortable with the process - especially since the little cable popping issue came up. I may have to re-read the posts, but did you put the servo in forward of the elevator servo or aft? I am guessing fore would be easier with the increased depth, but I am just curious - and did you just use a 4-40 rod for the pushrod? Thanks!

Chris
Barry is right. I have a Magnum 120 4-Stroke mounted to the front of my Mayhem and with the rudder servo in the rear, it balances at 5.5" with the battery under the rear of the canopy with no additional weight. You're going to be very nose heavy with the rudder servo in the stock location. There are pictures of my rudder servo install on the previous page (p27) in this thread. I mounted mine in-line with the elevator servo and right behind it. It's not very thick back there, but a couple small hardwood blocks on the outside give it just enough room. It works great and moves the servo weight way back where it's most effective.

For the pushrod, I used a 4-40 turnbuckle from an electric R/C stadium truck. Works great.
