Default RE: U-Can-Do 3d 46?

gjeffers...not really bi servo (don't have anything against JR) I use mostly HiTec with a Futaba thrown in here and there. My youngest son is named JR. Kinda fun for him to see his name on the plane.

I've got all the servos mounted in the repair now and I received the engine today. I'm going to give it a few minutes on the bench before I install it in the plane. But the engine mount is already drilled so once I get a little time on the engine I'll be ready to fly this baby. Just came up from the basement a few minutes ago after trimming the surfaces out. Takes me an hour or two to do that. But, I guess the positive is I don't have hardly any trimming on my first flights.

I've looked over this repair very closely and I can't see any curves, curls, etc that might make it not fly good. I'm anxious to get my new weight. Before I crashed this baby it was my lightest at 6lbs 12 1/2 ozs. I'm hoping to keep it under 6. I added quite a few trusses etc and some glue so I don't know if that's possible but we'll see. I'm looking forward to getting this little jewel in the air again.

Oh, there's a guy asking a few questions over in the beginners forum if you want to discuss. I invited him here. Hopefully he'll show.

Thanks
Barry
