One of the best 3D plane for a 46 (non profile) are like:

Phoenix Funstar
TT Spirit
H9 F40 (fun to fly with a 46 but a lot more 3D with the SA72)

The above 2 planes will trash the Magic or Magic Extra

For sport planes after a trainer:

WM T34 Mentor
WM Super Sport 40

Best plane that can do literally everything:

Fliton Extra 330 ... 3D, IMAC, sport flying etc ... mine had the SA72 and it was totally good, but not with a 46 2C, it begs for a SA82 as the minimum to put a Grand Canyon wide smile on your face. With the SA100 ... well just ask around in RCU what the guys who had the SA100 in her feel about it ... If you have not got the SA72, just go for the SA82, on 30% nitro this engine rocks. In all honesty this plane is much better than my F90 or Harrier 3D 90.
