I've had someone I know check a copy of plans/instructions they have and they say that the double is definitely supposed to end BEFORE the rib which would have made the alteration un-needed. Check the instructions.
Yes, bruce, you are correct again and I feel so stupid [sm=bananahead.gif]. But in all, the rib/spar joint is very solid - as solid as it would have been if I didn't make the boo-boo. Just have to make sure I do the right wing panel the same way. I am going back to reading the plans and instruction booklet YET AGAIN tonight to avoid other bigger and more-costly mistakes. Then I am going to re-read what I read again in the morning. Stupid things like this is what helps ruin a model - not looking close enough at a simple instruction that was right in front of my face if I looked close enough. Will not happen again
