Default RE: Source 4 Honey Bee 2 Parts/Compatibility?

not too sure how many parts are interchangeable between tham, but I have bought replacement blades, bearings and rotor parts for the blade cp and they work
ORIGINAL: kriegsmacht

I did a search, but didnt find exactly the answer I was looking for about this. I have a few questions.

1. Whats the best source for replacement parts for the Honeybee 2?

2. I was trying to land on a baseball second base and had a pretty firm rollover. (why I need a few parts) In particular, the tiny silver pin that goes through the main mast and holds the rotorhead on.. it is sheared. The question is, can I replace this with any steel wire of the proper diameter or is this a certain hardness, like a shear pin to protect the gear teeth?

3. The plastic covering on the tip of one of the blades was torn, exposing the wood. I removed it all and did a real nice monokote job on it. (them) Is this a no-no? It sure looks good.

4. From reading on here, I take it some parts are interchangeable with other models. For example, I take it the Blade and Esky share some parts? Can someone inform me on this? It would be helpful for shopping for parts on Ebay or locally.

I appreciate the help.
fine on my hb2
