He put it through the paces. Aileron rolls, a loop, vertical climb with rudder inputs (wagging the tail). He said it flew great and thanked me for letting him maiden it ('cause it was an easy maiden apparently). It was a lot of fun for me to just watch and see that it flew so well.
I did take my trainer up later on, and that was crappy. I've got to go back over it and make sure everything balances and all surfaces are neutral (I don't think they are anymore). But that's another story.
I do hope that this thread convinces more people to start building their own kit. It's the most fun I've had with RC yet! If anyone has any questions they think I can help with, consider this an open invitation to PM me, or to post in this thread. I've received so much help here at RCU that I've got to give some back!
