I thought I would drill out the hole in my plastic spinner just a little. Well, I held the backplate in my left hand while I proceeded to ream it out with a power drill and metal bit. Well, as soon as the bit went through the hole, quicker than you can say "Oh, __!" the plastic caught the bit and pulled it right through into my hand. Fortunately it didn't go too far in, and missed the knuckle. I didn't go to the doctor until the next day and he chastised me for not coming in sooner for 3-4 stitches, but by then it was too late. He sent me on my away with a tetnus shot and my hand wrapped in a lot of bandages so everyone I knew could ask about it. Now all I have is a weird scar and a "lesson learned" the hard way. Stoo-pid!
