It's now 1:30 in the morning and I just came up from the shop where I was getting a plane ready for our monthly club meeting held two days from now.

I just finished all the covering and tightening, and decided to finish off the evening by hinging all the control surfaces. I carefully mixed my 30 minute epoxy, and working as quickly as possible (15 minutes) installed two ailerons and the elevator (12 hinges).

Just in case I missed a spot on the hinges with the Petroleum Jelly, I decided to wait for the epoxy to set. And wait. .. And wait. It wasn't setting.

After about 1 hour I realized that I had mixed equal parts of 30 minute hardener and 6 minute hardener! Apparently I picked up two equal sized bottles with different colored lettering and assumed I picked up hardener and resin .
