Default stupid mistakes

Back in the early 80s, I built a TF Contender. The plans show one wing correct length the other is shorter, suppost to add the rest from the other side. Completed the whole thing, yes including the covering, I was almost ready to fly it when I realized it didn"t look quite right. Took some measurments and guess what one wing was shorter than the other. Ever since then I measure, set incodences, ballance, install all radio stuff untill plane is ready to fly except the cover job. I don"t know if the new TF Contender is the same way or if they have corrected the plans.
