Did not find it to comforting putting the reciever in that location.
I ended up putting the battery under the fuel tank along with a lot of foam.
The reciever ended up in the canopy area. I put foam tape around the canopy edge to keep out the fuel from getting in the area.
This worked out really well and I do like it. My only issue is were I put the switch which was a little to far back on the fuse becuase I was planning on putting
the battery back in that area but it went forward of were I planned.
Redbeard, who I purchased the plane from has one and he put the reciever in the same location and ran the antenna wire out the canopy.
I thought this was a good idea too.
He has a OS91 on it, flies great with that engine on it too.
A electrified version would be intresting to say the least as the battery packs could go were the tank is now and the esc could be placed on the lower side of the engine compartment.
I would still look at putting the reciver in the canopy area as I feel this is a good area for it.
I wonder what would be a good electric motor for this plane along with the ESC?

Got another two flights on this airplane tonight.
The fixes seem to be holding ok as I flew it pretty hard tonight.
I'm looking forward in hearing your flight report of the Skyshark that you are currently building.
I was looking at the new OMP fusion 3d profile plane tonight. It looks pretty intresting and such.
Wonder how that one would be with a Saito 100 straped to it.
Says 91 to 120 four stroke.
Hopefully I will get a few more flights on it this week but only time will tell.

Your write about no room in the fuse. I placed my receiver on it's edge and up next to the back of the fuel tank. There's really not a whole lot of choices. The only options for balance was the battery pack and it could be place under the canopy or where I have mine, sitting on top of the fuel tank.

I don't think anyone has yet but it would be a good one to do that with.
The biggest drawback of this airplane is the lack of a normal place to put the reciever and such in the airplane.
If you electrify it than you could place it in the fuel tank area.
I have not been able to fly due to weather and other things for around a week so hopefully I will get sometime this week before
the weather turns nasty as it usually does this time of year.
