Get Real

Thanks for all the information, tips and video postings. I also saw the long video on the Edge/Typhoon drag race. That was very good.

As to hovering, yes, I'm sure I will get the hang of it soon.

I already do quite a bit with the Edge 540 and can fly it quite safely except for a few rough landings every now and then. It took me a while to learn how to fly inverted and, then, all of a sudden, I started doing it and wondering why did I think it was so difficult to do. Hope the same will happen with hovering.

The Edge comes with the 850kv motor and I ordered the 1000kv motor thinking it would give me more power, but the motor is for greater speed, not power. I should have ordered the 700kv motor which would be much better for hovering since it can take much bigger props.

Thanks again!
