I am confused. As Todd said early on this thread: don't you get a TX & RX with the Shulman set-up? The CVS thing just stores video for download after landing, right? Don't get me wrong, I would definitely take the do-it-yourself route, but it sounds like we are comparing apples & oranges.

Me and PulseJet Harry just bought a 380 line CCD 2.4 GHz with audio set-up from Walmart for $78. Works pretty good, but the range could be better.
