I do the same as Bruce. I buy fuel by the case. Before I put the last gallon into my flight box I will try to get to the LHS and pick up some more. Even if I don't, my flight box holds 2 gallons, so I can still fly for a bit off what is in my flight box. Also, a lot LHS will give you a bit of a discount if you buy fuel by the case. So it saves a bit of money if you can buy it like that.

We don't shut down for winter either. We don't fly every weekend during the cold months, but we still get out often enough.
