RE: Micro Video Camera
Matt, the hack is easy, not sure what you mean by large percentage able to get it to work. The camera is widely popular even without the hack. My local CVS said they are mostly sold to people who are having weddings, for basically 300 bucks plus the cost of the dvd's they get some cool memories.
As regards those who try the hack, my guess is that most who try will get it. All you do is take the camera apart, solder on four wires, load some software on your computer, and plug the usb cable in.
The hack is hardware in nature in that you just solder on the cable. The software does the rest. It's really so simple.
As regards what shulman was doing, I don't have a problem with that at all. When ebay first came out, I immediately found an online retailer that sold furniture, posted his picture from his site on Ebay, and added a hundred bucks. I sold over a hundred units making 10,000.00 over the first year ebay was in business cause people didn't know they could go to another site to buy the same furniture, they just assumed it was a good deal cause it was on ebay. I profited nicely from it. And I never ever not one time had one of the pieces of furniture on hand that I was selling on ebay. I'd get the order on ebay, email the order to the online retailer and pay with my address and ship to their address, what a deal!!
Too bad people have gotten more scrupulous in some ways about ebay and their knowlege of the net. First year I made 10K second year about 5K. I tried it again about a year ago and couldn't even get a bid, but that was for S and Giggles.
By the way, I've already got 5 guys paypal.com some cash my way for these cameras. Give me a week fellas and I'll have them out to you.
