The thing that bothers me the most about these type of threads is that fact that everyone has replied with the sensible advice about the Spitfire (i.e. its NOT a 2nd plane), and then one person comes in and says "Hey, I did it, dont listen to anyone else, its do-able"....and of course the kid listens to the odd one out.

Luke, why do you even post questions like the one you did in the original thread when in reality, you already have an answer in mind, and you're just waiting for one person to confirm it, meanwhile ignoring everyone else and wasting their time. Why do people do this? Posting/asking questions when they already have an answer to their own question.....
Luke is going to ignore what everyone said about holding off on the Spitfire for a few years until he builds up more experience, build his Spitfire, and fly it for a total of 20 seconds.
Let him crash it...like most teens I'm sure he's at that stage where he needs to learn from experience, instead of heeding the advice of much more experienced people, like the people who have kindly posted here.

Btw Luke, it doesn matter what colors you paint it in, it wont last long enough for you to enjoy it.
Oh, one last thing, Luke please improve your punctuation and grammar...its giving a bad image to us younger enthusiasts of the hobby.....
