Don't blame Schulman for selling a product. You should thank him for bringing this to our attention and taking the time to do the work and sell a complete package. The price is and should be whatever the market demands.
You should be pissed at all of the hackers, myself included, for screwing up the business model of PureDigital. Technically, you are making money by not having to spend any getting your video processed.

Should i be pissed at all hackers?? Great folks like those 'hackers' made it possible for me,you others and schulman (at the end of the list ) to have affordable video setup which is not perfect but works.As of pure digital,if you care about PD so much why don't you buy a few(hundred) stocks of pure digital ,thus supporting the company!
With all due respect i am pissed...and not because his price is too high.If he would of came up with the hack then he would of had rights to name any price he could think of.But he didn't contribute to the hack even a tiny bit.All he did is duplicated someone's work-made a cable.Then on top of all that burned CD with the software that BillW wrote with GUI licence.It means that it's free and can't be legally sold and if distributed it has to be acompanied by source code.
Oh one more thing....You said hackers including you....Did YOU made any contributions to the forum??? Or just duplicated (as i did) the proven hacked design?
