Surely you can borrow a little fuel at the field. And buy extra fuel, it's cheaper than car gas (well, almost). I always have at least one full gallon at home plus whatever I am running on. Be sure to rotate so it doesn't go bad. If you don't fly in the winter months, just let your supply dwindle in the fall. We fly all year here.
