Thanks a lot for the help so far fellas, I'll get it running right one day.

In the mean time I have another question. It is highly likely that that is the problem.

If you are looking into the carb which side should go back when you throttle up (the front side or rear)?
Also which side should the butterfly vents (those two scrapes on the valve) be protruding from (into the engine or out of)?
