Thanks to DKjens and Hobbsy,
Trying to start the 180 by flipping it over has been interesting to say the least. It has kicked back hard and knocked the stick out of my hand more than once. I'll try the procedure you outlined above. My hands are my life and I can't damage them. Hobbsy, the 602 is no longer made. I think it was produced by sullivan in the 70's.
