Installed 440 pushrods last night and the aileron linkages are now very tight and they do not flex under (test) load nearly as badly as the 2mm rods. Wing is ready to fly. I still have to epoxy the inside of the tank compartment to firm up the landing gear mount area and the engine compartment where I had to grind for the YS. All linkages are in and feel OK. I still cringe with the pull/pull elevator but have been multiply assured it will be fine. I would prefer to mount the tank amidships to minimize change in CG. Is the weight needed in the nose?
