RE: Amsoil and DA 100 Question
It is probably true that a manufacturers suggested oil is not the ONLY oil that will work. But to assume that a manufacturer is recommending an oil just because he sells it is silly. He sells it because he has found it works the best. I'm relatively sure DA could carry and sell any brand of oil they want too. All things being considered, and taking the reputation of the company into considertion, I think you are better off following a manufacturers recommendations.
