Went to balance my completed SE at 3.5 inches back from the leading edge and found I will have to add 8 oz. of weight to the nose to get it to balance. I usually balance my planes at 30% of the average wing chord in which I include the ailerons. If I do this with the SE I get 4.20 inches back from the leading edge. Using this figure the SE balances perfectly. Apparently Sig only measures average wing without the ailerons. Question. Do I really have to add 8 oz. of lead to this plane???
