An electrically boosted sailplane is designed for just that. Trying to modify it for line (hi-start or winch lauching) may result in instability on launching.

That said you could get a heavy duty hi-start and have a go at it. Just need some aggressive ailerons. About half the span and at least 20% of the cord. If the ailerons don't have the slow speed authority then don't bother with the hi-start launching. May need a strong winch.

I have a Mako full house that I use a heavy duty hi-start on. Whings it up pretty good. Not has high as a poly but good enough to have a shot at the average thermal.
