Default RE: Calling all ADjet Phoenix flyers

Hi there.....

I was actually waiting for this thread..... good that it started. Lets start on a good note... this is an exceptionally good kit / trainer kit/ ARF. we received a prototype a couple of months ago and we found the kit a bit flimsy/soft for the brand it comes from. But hey it was a prototye only and with P60 on it. It FLEWWWW. Nice....... as Malcolm said. I will post a few pictures aswell of the Phoenix one of our freind who flew it just before its test flight. The planes flew well but we lost it soon on the following week which was no fault of the plane.. just some D@# Li0n - Duralites......!

Anyways. A word of advice if anyone bldg it. You must consider to remove all the wood panelling / formers etc.. from the inside - yes rip it all out and reinforce the sides walls with C.F material from the front right till the part the wings are joint. This will make it a much more durable plane. Then you could put back all the wood panels / formers that you ripped out. The new kits that we recd were much better quality then the proto.. but I think its just a good idea to upgrade it if you have the skillz and time. Otherwise its just ok to let it be as it is.

We have now finished 2 more of these and flown one with a p60 and the other with PST 600R. Both flew well. The bld is simple and easy and it takes just 4 days from the box to the field.

Way to go ADJets...
