I have not look into Dragracing RC's that much. Index racing is when you have a certain time you have to run. One of my index classes id 5.60 seconds in an 1/8 of a mile. so everyone is trying to run a 5.60 or as close to witho out going under. If you go under say a 5.59 then you automaticly loose. A bracket race is when you dail a 5.99 and your apponite dials a 5.55. you will leave first then he will leave. you are both trying to get as close to the your one number as possible with out going under.
