Don't get me wrong, I don't have any problems with noseovers either. Just the very first flight, taking off from a dirt field, and throttling too quickly I nosed it over. It happens.
I probably have at least 40 flights on it now with only one other mishap... A dead stick in the rough put it on it's back. Some mishap huh?
I built new gear for mine to get a little more scale look using aluminum airfoil shaped tubing over the LG wires, but the wheels are still in the same position fore/aft, just about 1 1/2" narrower track. Also installed 4" DuBro Big Wheels. It's a real *****cat to land and take off.
