Hello,
Well also you have to think about the loner moment which needs more weight forward. We are designng the plane around a 70cc-85cc single. The 58 from a porwer standpoint may work but there may be a CG issue. We will be using a new 3W80 in the first plane and switching to a ZDZ 80. Were hoping to see a DA 75 next year.
We want to test the motors. We know the success the larger planes are having now and the great feedback from the customers building the planes and those few who have flown our test 35% and 42% planes. Also we had previous success with a 84" Extra 300s that was designed in 1994. So planes of most any size we have done already in kit form. Let me know if I can help further.
Thanks
John
