If you were only getting 8 minutes with your FA-150 on a 24 ounce tank you must have had a whale of a leak, or the engine was very far out of tune. You should have gotten at least double that time.
The Magnum 120 also should give you at least 20 minutes with reserve.
But they both need to be tweaked. Did you ever adjust the low speed on your Saito? Didn't think so.
