Using a onboard GPS a average jet like the Kangaroo with a 20 lbs turbines did 288 km/h as a maximum speed in a normal flight, without diving or using 100% throttle for much time... but you can go faster if you dive it at full power.

We are building here a specialized beast for a jet speed event that is likely to go much, much faster... if the plane didn´t desintegrate first.
