What gear are your buddies using? I heard of problems w/ the CF bracing, but it seems that people used CA instead of Epoxy. I also looked at making my own bracing, I use the trick from the Sig SE kit, cheap, strong and easy, but the fin on the F90 doesn't have much "meat" to bolt it to. I did drill the openings for the CF a little deeper, the CF rod is plenty long and you would be suprised how far you can bend it in a "U" shape to get it in the holes. I have one of the elevator halves gap a little tighter than I like, kinda worried if it will fail from being too tight? The manual gives degrees of throw....so I have to find a protractor (?).
