Just talked to the local hobby shop owner, and he said that the CC25 will run the HiMax 2816-0890 fine, but if you have an older CC25, it will need to be sent to CC for an update. For some reason the older CC25's don't like the low KV motors from the outrunners. Apparently this is a free service that CC provides, I am getting ready to call them. Heck, I might go with the outrunner and see what happens.
