Default RE: Vectorflight Edge 540 build

Well lets wake this thread up again by a question I have and or suggestion. Well first if you didn't know I was off was to mount my saito inverted and redo a couple of things.
(descriptions in order of attached pictures) Couldn't put the pictures in the post themself as I was having troubles with yahoo briefcase
-- Got the mount secured with a 2 degree thrust plate from earnt

-- As you can see the carb is much lower on the firewall so I would have to mount my fuel tank lower. (Gosh the saito looks pretty)

-- I reconstructed my orginal try that hold my reciever and throttle servo. I had the RX facing up but it ended up interfering with the wing joiners. So placed it on the bottom which then hides all the servo wires. For the time im going to screw the plate into the two fuse sides so I still remove it when needed.

-- Well this isn't that good of an angle but trying to show the relationship of the carb to the fuel tank (black line on tank is mid-tank)
The one thing im having issues is a logical way to mount the tank. I tryed contstructing a fuel tank mount out of lite ply and balsa but ended up not working. Tryed stuffing it with foam but couln't get the tank low enough to resist the syphon effect.
Any suggestions?
