Default RE: Vectorflight Edge 540 build

Didn't get a ton done tonight but it feels good to finally have my fingers in this thing instead of reading about getting into it in this thread . Got the right side joiners glued to the center section joiners when I got home from church. While the 30 min. epoxy was setting up I decided to try my hand at canopy tinting. It was a bit of a mess but turned out rather well. I was hoping for a real dark tint but ran a little short on patience so now I have a realistic looking tint. Guess I'll have to put a pilot figure in there after all!

A while back somebody posted something about scaling down a picture of a full scale Edge dash board and printing it out to glue on the dash of the model. Could I get a hold of that pic by any chance???

Also, have any of you guys sprayed any clear over this model? I am planning on some vinyl lettering and some gold pinstriping everywhere the white meets the red. I picked up some Top Flite Lustrecoat clear to shoot over it when I get it all on there to shine it up and seal down the edges of the added stick on trim, anybody tried it?

Oh, one more thing, I thought the firewall would be pre-drilled to accept an inverted engine mount but it isn't. Do I just simply rotate the mount around the diameter of the existing side mount holes to mount inverted if I stick with the stock motor mount or do I need to totally re-position the thing?

Thanks and God bless,
