RE: Showtime
Barry,
I'm flying almost the exact same setup. The only difference is I'm using a 8611A in the tail for the rudder. I know, it's overkill but it's what I had laying around.
I too started on pull-pull and it was way to nose heavy. Since I moved the servo to the tail, I'm dead on the recommended CG and it flies much better. inverted is a lot nicer to deal with. I use a Fromeco 4800Mah Li-Ion sitting right next to the fuel tank on the opposite side of the Preformance Specialties muffler with the superreliaswich/regulator tie wrapped to the wing tube. This batt setup has allowed me to fly multiple flights between recharge. It started life in my funtana90 and I'm pretty certain I went bout 10 flights between recharge and I still could have done more
The only problem I have now is the exhuast valve on my 110 bent so I now have to tear the engine out and send it off to YS [:@] All I need to do is get over to the Hidden Hangar and pull the original receipt because the engine is not even a year old and I lost my copy of the reciept. I'm pretty sure I met you over there this past Saturday. I was the one that bought the GP Ultimate.
